I am a PhD Researcher at Aston University, UK. After receiving a Bsc with honours in Games Design at Leeds Metropolitan University, I worked in the construction Industry for 4 years implementing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) during its infancy, researching its user experience (UX) in a knowledge transfer partnership, going as far as to create an award winning VR training simulation. My current research is based around the use of a “Smart Agent” holographic augmented reality AI smart assistant for citizens in smart cities, looking at hardware, software and network requirements as well as the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve and deliver services through AR.

I enjoy hiking, reading and am an avid PC gamer as well as being hugely interested in additive manufacturing, going as far as to own my own 3d printer.
