I am a PhD student. I achieved BEng at the University of Bradford in Electronics and Electrical engineering and an MSc at the University of Birmingham in Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Robotics. My master’s work involved developing models for capturing performance metrics using markerless pose capture data from Olympic weightlifters. Previously I worked as a software engineer, developing embedded software for industrial hardware.

My current research concerns human-computer interaction for sports performance, in particular developing an agent-based (virtual buddy) for assisting athletes to adhere to a training regimen in both motivating them and giving them helpful feedback using different modalities.
