Cliona Kelly
Dr Kelly has obtained her PhD from Aston University, UK in 2023. Cliona holds a BSc with honours in Psychology and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience both from Aston University. Her research has used virtual reality (VR) in combination with electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate social cognition. For her MSc project, she looked at perspective taking and carried out analysis on the EEG data at both sensor and source level. Her PhD project combines VR and EEG, looking at non-verbal social cues, such as eye gaze and joint attention. The project involves human-virtual human interaction which will be used to manipulate the virtual human behaviour in a close-loop control system.
